Biography:

Cèlia Margalef Boquera is a Catalan pianist based in London, performing regularly across the UK, Spain, and internationally. Recent highlights include a solo recital at the 2026 Barcelona Obertura Ciutat de Clàssica Festival at the Fundació Joan Miró in Barcelona, and a performance of J. S. Bach’s Goldberg Variations at the Toca’m Piano Festival in Tortosa. Prizewinner of the John Longmire Beethoven Competition and the Trinity Laban English Song Competition, she also received the Best Spanish Pianist “Rosa Sabater” Prize at the 8th Vigo International Piano Competition, adjudicated by Martha Argerich and Cyprien Katsaris. Her 2026 season includes performances across the UK and Spain, with further engagements in Canada. Cèlia has appeared at venues including the Palau de la Música Catalana, Cercle del Liceu, Southwark Cathedral, Westminster Music Library, and St James’s church Piccadilly. She studied at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona and at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, where she completed both a Master of Music and Artist Diploma with honours.
